I posted earlier this week regarding the yellow engine light coming on immediately after nearly stalling the car whilst reversing up hill.

Had some great advice and decided i was going to invest in a u281 code reader and determine what the fault was and how quickly it needed sorting.

Well after 4 days of the light being on and me preparing to buy a reader to see what the fault is, today when i started the car first thing, no light on. Ive done 7 different journeys today, and it hasnt come back on at all.

i think this worries me more than it being on in the first place!!!

still driving and running silky smooth, so i dont know what to think. Any ideas? Thank u in advance 

I wouldn't worry about it, probably just a glitch. Wait and see if the light comes back on. Having the code reader is always handy, so I'd still buy it if I were you.

^^ What he said, the light just means it logged a fault, the fault was you stalling it!

 thank u good people, yep the fault was my fault!!! I need to give it more welly when reversing up hill!!
