Got a 1.2TSI in a 62 plate Skoda Rapid. 

 

Found this cracked after noticing some oil/dirt deposit by the top of the engine.  Connects to the air intake pipe between the top of the crankcase and the pipe.  Am I right in thinking this is the fresh air intake for the PCV system and not the valve itself?

Yes, it is the fresh air intake, the pcv valve is on the side of the cam cover and has a small hose directly to the turbo.

And its code is PCV valve (Ventil) : 030103175B
