Fitting genuine skoda estate bumper protector

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a new Skoda (from SuperSkoda) rear bumper guard for my estate.

Do you have any advice for fitting it?

My thoughts were to place it and align it where I wanted and then add some masking tape so I can align it when I remove the tape.  I'm afraid of sticking it down wonky! :D

Yep definitely use tape and markers to line it up.  I didn't, and while most people won't notice, I know it's marginally off centre

i just measured and marked centre of the bumper and center of the guard and lined them up.

I have one to fit but I'm waiting for warmer weather.

There are some plastic alignment tools in the pack but not had a play yet.

That would make me *twitch*, bearing in mind I fitted my number plates with a spirit level having marked TDC :D , Assume it's not easy to remove and refit?
