Load signal wire

Featured Replies

Hi,

Probably a stupid one this!

I had the common load signal wires break and following advice and posts on these forums I managed to fix it. The ESC light went away. Great!

Now though, the battery light is on when I turn on the ignition but not when I turn the engine on. Battery is fine, alternator is fine. I'm fairly sure the battery light is normal but I'm concerned as I've not seen it before now, hopefully not seen it because of the broken wire and now that it's fixed the battery light is lit again!

Can someone please put my mind at rest?!

Thanks a lot.

Sounds like it's behaving normally now. :)

Thought so! Thanks wino! I did a great job fixing the load wire! The wires broke too close to the connector so I cut both wires each side of it and took it out, used 15amp connectors and 2x15cm pieces of wire to extend the loom, double wrapped with tape and securely fixed it back up to the bracket that the connector was attached to. Love briskoda! This forum has saved me a LOT of money more than once!

Sounds good wino. Only £12 per year! Might just do this on payday. :)
