Had the same message from dealer today also.  It's becoming a bit of a joke.  That will be over 6 months from order, I reckon a house could be built more quickly.

 

Are you on first names terms with Skoda Customer Service @boydeee ?!   Did they offer an apology or any sort of recompense for your wait?  They could chuck in a mug or something..no wait a minute, its us that are the mugs!

Any link to the Press Release or statement on the MY19 Passat having a 1.4TSI / Hybrid.

 

The Manufacturers might be thinking on anyway about importing Hybrids to the UK with Kidology Ranges without the ICE engine running.

Noi point if the UK Chancellor changes the VED & any Tax Benefits on vehicles that really are just low Emissions Under WLTP testing 

but are polluting the Towns & Cities of the UK really burning petrol or diesel.

They wind up Auto Express with their 'Factory Insiders', 

 They use Autocar / What Car part of the Haymarket Media Group (Lord Michael Heseltines Company) which has VW as a Customer for actual News Stories.

Haha! No not quite on first name terms but I am going to their Christmas do. 

 

Same with me with the 6 months wait. Tried ordering in March and couldn't. My order was placed and accepted at the end of May. 

 

My dealer has kept me up to date but I thought Skoda UK would know a more precise estimate for delivery

 

More time to save money I guess....
