Traction control Esp

Featured Replies

Evening all, has anyone else noticed if their traction light flashes on the dashboard when driving hard? I thought it might be wheelspin at first but I've noticed a couple of times when in 4th gear and dry roads surely it can't be. I've a stage 1 shark remap and a gfb dv but have had an intermittent turbo underboost fault code, could it be clutch slip possibly?  Lets have some feed back please.

Sounds like not very good tyres on surfaces with not much traction.

Driving beyond the adhesion available, and you spinning the wheels/tyres.

I would agree if it wasn't the fact I have 4 month old goodyear asymetric 3 fitted. One of the local guys said it could be the maf. Showing a fault when on close to full boost

F1A3 are known to be ****e on tuned cars, they just Can't put the power down

Airborne?

It is enough if one wheel loses traction due to uneven or dirty road, why not in 4th gear. You have plenty of torque now after a remap.

try flooring it in 5th or 6th gear going uphill, watch the rev counter - if it shoots up quickly then slows down as the speed builds you are probably getting some clutch slip.
