Can someone that created and founded what he has be as stupid as he tries to have Senators and other believe he is?

'Knows nothing, will need to check, get back to you on that!'   'I believe so!'.    Doh...  'I am not aware'

?

Why ask me, i am only the man at the top?

There is a lot of very funny stuff going around about Zucc and the Senators. Problem i see with the amount ****taking is that its kinda undermining the seriousness of what the issue really is about. People not knowing what information is being gathered about them.

Zuckerberg admitted facebook gather data on people who arent even on facebook.. if a journalist/government dept did that and used the data to their advantage there would be protests. Facebook etc do it, and the majority dont seem too fussed, mostly because they dont understand it.

I'm not sure Facebook even know what it is collecting.

But remember Google collects even more, Amazon lots as well and Microsoft is doing its best to get in on the act too.

They just hoover everything up, feed it into their big-data AI systems and crank the handle to see what it says they can sell.

Apple has said, we could collect this but we don't.  Which probably means we've built our stuff specifically to allow this when we choose to flip the switch.

Oh, they know exactly what they're doing.

I don't do Facebook but my wife, bless her, does.

She mistyped her login password once.  Just the once, mind you.

She received a message telling her that her account had been locked, for her protection, naturally, and she needed to provide her mobile number so that Facebook could send her a pin number which she needed to enter on another screen.

So now they have her name and mobile number which can be cross referenced to Gumtree, eBay etc etc.

But they're not as bad as Google.  Try using an Android phone if you want to experience being under total surveillance.

As said on Radio 4 this morning. Facebook, Google, Amazon etc are free. iPhones, iPads etc cost a lot of money. It doesn't take much working out. B)
