Streaming video to tablets - Columbus

Hi all, 

I am trying to find a definitive answer to whether you can stream video to two tablets via the Kodiaq (columbus infotainment) wifi hotspot. I have read that you can, i have read that you can't. Does anyone know a definitive answer? I certainly can't seem to get anything to work. The car has the media command centre installed.

I read somewhere that it may be that the media command centre app doesn't currently allow for it but it is due to be upgraded to allow for it in the future. Its hard to see the point of the media command centre if it doesn't allow for streaming. Otherwise its just a ridiculous remote control for music and nav. Hardly worth it.

If someone has successfully streamed video to tablets in the car can you please outline the steps involved in achieving it. Thanks.
