Bolero Radio from 2012 Octavia II - Reduced to £50

Featured Replies

I have for sale the original Bolero radio that was in my 2012 Octavia II. It is in excellent condition and comes from a non smoking and non pet carrying car.

It is a Delphi unit and I have obtained the code number for it (which has been checked to work). Before you buy it you need to be aware that whilst the CD and SD card inputs work faultlessly there is a slight 'problem' with the radio. When listening to the FM radio it will occasionally change to another radio station by itself for between 2 to about 5 seconds and then return to the selected station. During this time the radio still shows the selected staion so it is not Traffic Messages related. It seems to happen more in areas of low radio reception, in my case the Peak District, and is only very occasional. As it was anoying me I have replaced the radio in my car with a second hand Bolero made by Blaupunck which does not have this problem.

The radio is therefore priced cheap at £50.00 plus £12.00 postage (Parcelforce48) although you can collect it from Stockport to save on the postage. It would suit sombody who only listens to music on CD or SD card, when a car is being sold and you want to keep your aftermarket radio or somebody who doesn't mind the occasional channel changing.

I know this is an old thread, did you sell this? and if not any idea if it will fit a 2008 roomster?

  • Author

I still have it in a cardboard box sat on top of a cupboard.

Unfortunatly I do not know whether it will fit your Roomster. You would be best asking on the Roomster section of the forum.

ok ill get some info. if it does fit how about £50 posted to medway by slow post?

Also if it needs a code do you have the code?

I do have to code for it.

See if it will fit your Roomster first as it may be a different shape to your dance (the Bolero is wider at the top than the bottom). If it will fit then I am sure that we can agree on a price.
