I hoped this was the prob with mine sadly no the inner cable is sticking a full can of WD40 later no luck How difficult is it to fit a new cable :(

This just happened to me :-( Blue Tac is holding the cap closed at the moment. Glad the fix is posted here :-) Going to go try and fix it now.

I fixed my leaky doors after following the guide on Briskoda. What a great site.

ARGH!! I just came back inside from trying to get the carpet out but I can't! Is there a special way of doing it on an estate?

I can see the cable dangling loose when I take the small carpet panel out to get to the rear lights. Please help me, I am terrible with technical bits like this. It was my friend who did the doors for me. I am more of a 'ones and zero's' person.

I searched for this topic as I had the same problem. 15 mins later and its all sorted. Thanks very much guys, the support here is fantastic. Thats two faults i've sorted today, the other was my rear washer jet post from earlier. Had i known about the search feature there wouldnt have been any need for my earlier post.
