Spare wheel - why 50 mph max?

Featured Replies

We have been through this before.  I have a steel spare wheel with the same size and speed rating tyre as on my oe alloy wheels. My "universal" spare wheel has the 50mph sticker.

Not worried at all. Last had a blow out in the late 1980s.
