iPhone X bluetooth problems

Featured Replies

I have an Octavia from 2015 with the Bolero radio and bluetooth.

I recently changed my phone to an iPhone X, and now I am experiencing problems with the audio quality on calls.

The weird thing is, sometimes the quality is fine - and I can’t figure out, what the deciding factor is.

I had an iPhone SE before, and the audio was smooth as silk.

Anybody else experience problems, and better yet - come up with a solution?!

I’ve had the iPhone X since it launched last November and never had an issue, my vRS is 2015 MY16 with Bolero Hardware H24 and Software 0241, to the best of my knowledge it hasn’t been updated since it left the factory. If you are running older firmware it might be worth upgrading or you could remove and re-add the phone or finally a last resort reset the system.

My radio is actually the Swing, not the Bolero.

I can see that there is an update to the bluetooth software - I will try that.

The update of the bluetooth software unfortunatly didn't solve the problem.

Anyone else experience the same problems with the Swing radio and iPhone 10?

I am experiencing similar issues. Changed iphone from a 6 to an 8. Tried switching bluetooth on/off, renaming the phone, but still not connecting yet it connects to my smart watch when I'm in the car. Any suggestions before I go home this evening to check the manual?

Hi,

i have same issue with octavia 2015, BT D460 swing.

iphone 6 was ok.

tested it with H24, worked well.

what to do?

I contacted Skoda, and they said that the iPhone X wasn’t supported by the Swing radio from 2015. So that wasn’t very helpful at all.

So the only hope is that Apple somehow can fix it via an iOS update...

Thank you very much for your reply!
