Featured Replies

So followed my Haynes manual.., of course one bit never goes smoothly.

ive got to the stage where everything is undone, but I just can’t get the whole plastic console to come away from the ashtray end/underneath the radio.

Have you taken those two torx screws out? Then that end needs pushed down and the other end lifted up to free it from the tabs underneath the heater ducts

Aye the two Torx screws are still in.

There's two torx screws that need to come out of the other end of the console as well between the front seats

Yeah. And this trim piece has to come out or the console won't come past the handbrake...

I’ve removed that bit as well (and had a good hoover underneath it, was full of filth!)

now ive done all of that... any suggestions of how to get to the airbag ecu

Push that end down and lift the other end up and over the handbrake and gently free it from off the tabs

Airbag ECU is under the heater box, central and almost as far as you can get towards front of car.
