Dynamic Chassis Control issue

Featured Replies

I have Dynamic Chassis Control in my Skoda Superb (with DSG 7) which was made in December 2018.

When I activate Echo mode, the shift indicator changes from D1-7 to E1-7 in the display and freewheel is activated. Then I shut the car off, lock it, unlock it and start again. The DCC lamp is still on and the display shows Echo mode, but the gear indicator changes to D1-7 and freewheel is deactivated.
With the exception of freewheel, the same happens if I use Sport mode, but with the difference that E1-7 is S1-7.

In my opinion this is wrong and has notified it to my local dealer where I bought the car. Unfortunately, the feedback is slow.

Has anyone noticed this and got a solution?

its been discussed a number of times before - sadly it is a "known feature".

while the driving mode displays sport/eco/comfort - it has actually reverted back to "Normal" mode.

you have to reselect the mode again for it to remember.

And Sadly, it never does.  Mine did remember it for the first 2 days, then its brain must have remembered it needed to forget...now it forgets

Whether there is an error or not can not be discussed ... It would be ok if the orange light in the button would go out and the function will be reset when the car is turned off.

I have also tried this on a Kodiaq. That works,
almost ... The function is retained in Echo mode but not in Sport mode. The conclusion is that the function should be stored and maintained after the car is restarted.
