Hi guys. 

Could some of you help me with measurements of the airvent adjustments wheel in the dashboard?

 

I need to check out of if these wheel are same thickness than mine since I want to retrofit some wheels that can be illuminated hehe.

C'mon guys?! - Not a single one that are willing to measure the thickness of the adjustment wheel you guys have for your airvents in the dashboard? 

The stock vents/vent controls are lit, so if they're not lighting on your car you have a problem. Replacing the control dials will probably not solve this problem.

• I know this, however I've got some spare time on my hands and want to try out if it would be possible to make the Superb wheels fit my airvent. I just need to know the thickness of the wheels before I order some used air vents that I can't use due to the thickness.

Tried some wheels from audi however these where to small in the diameter where superb ones are larger and may work

what car are you fitting them too?

and when you say thickness do you mean left to right or diameter?

 

FWIW the Passats have the same vents mine was a 2011 and had white rather than green illumination

I will try make the wheels work on the MK6 golf dashboard. 

 

The measure I need is on the wheel itself. not the diameter or length The Audi wheels have a too small diameter to make it work but the wheels fit the whole in the mk6 airvent. 

 

I will change the LED to a red one to make it fit the rest of the interior illumination.
