Hi, new to the brand

Featured Replies

We've just bought a two-year-old Octavia III estate 1.4 TSI SE-L with 19,000 miles on it which is decidedly more clean than the 110,000-mile Honda Insight that we traded in. Had the estate in mind for some time as we have a large dog, and pleased to find this one when we popped in to the dealer last week "just to have a look".

First impressions: perky motor with a slick gearbox and light clutch, which are important considerations after giving up our kangaroo-like Honda CVT drivetrain. More modern 'infotainment' system - although, where's the postcode entry for the sat nav ... ?  Good all-round visibility, although the wing mirrors are on the small side. Rear parking assist is a bonus novelty for us. Lots of headroom for the dog :)

Nowhere to put coffee cups. It's very noticeable that although the Octavia estate is, rightly, widely acclaimed as being very roomy in the rear seats and luggage space, it seems to lack *usable* places to put things in the front.

mfl no doubt
