after a long sarga of getting a cracked windscreen replaced

im trying to get the lane departure re calibrated.

No Skoda dealers with the equipment up in Cumbria so was recommended a garage by Skoda, (hour drive each way) At the garage they can’t perform the set up as they said camara not fitted correct on new screen, the screen fitter said he set it up correct with his laptop? I’m waiting for them to decide who can deal with it. Also should they need to check and reset adaptive cruise control radar, which they did? I thought they are two separate things and are not linked? Are they linked? Before I question the garage about it, ps I was told new screen is  a genuine skoda one but not sure if it is

The windscreen people should have reclalibrated the LA camera, Autoglass did mine in 2017 on an O3fl

Autoglass - although very poor service I found - have fitted two screens to two different Octavia VRS I’ve had in last 8 months. 

 

Genuine Skoda screen - had to go into one of their branches for calibration. 

 

Was some mention that certificate they gave me for calibration was to confirm to insurer it had been calibrated - presume in a crash to absolve their responsibility if said was car fault - lane camera etc...
