I'm suprised no one has more interest in the actual process itself. I wonder if they do the paint in car "runs" of the same colour.

How does that work then?  You can have one white and one black parent but both parents be British (other colours and nationalities are available)

Correct I turned 60 this year, a young 60 mind you,

I don’t do pc I leave that to the snowflakes, far too busy enjoying myself .

I loved that film, very hypnotic quality watching it. I loved the fancy seats that the guys adding the sun visors have, they just bounce up and into the cars and then spin back out again, very snazzy

A modern production line is an amazing thing to see.

 

We had a school trip to the Jaguar plant and saw the X type being assembled. The just in time production line is so efficient. Like you see above, one minute a car has no doors and you blink and the robot is whisking them over.

 

The paint booths are the best things on there. How they're able to do it to such tolerances time after time. I'm sure it was the Anglia (might have been the Pop) were dipped in a big paint pot. I know some were painted by hand as well. Oh how things have come on.

Are you suggesting it's always better to keep quite?  Some people speak out, others chose to ignore it, others don't even notice it- usually because nobody spoke out. The comment you make would have been exactly the same comments that were made in the mid 30's about the Jews, in the 40's and 50's when we were hostile to immigrants who came to help rebuild our country ( some of who we've just tossed out again ), in the 70's about Mr Saville & co. etc...   Ssh - keep quiet, don't say anything or you'll upset the status quo.
