Its 2011 and its the 2l petrol

Ok. Turbo or ea888 scraper ring are 2 likely causes of oil consumption of that magnitide on the CCZA  unless it is leaking out of engine.

How many miles for 2l oil usage?

Interested to see responses to seat covers. I have to use a blanket on  rear seat beneath child car seats. Even at front light grey alcantra or what ever is staining and marking waiting to happen .

There was an option of all black

Alcantara at some point. Very rare but so much better....

Is there any way of verifying the mileage?

How do you mean verifying the mileage,if its between the oil top-ups,id say between 750 miles-850 miles give or take,I put a litre in on monday afternoon, and it was 9 days previous, when I put the 1st litre in,I got a 3 month warranty,I haven't noticed any smoke from the exhaust etc,and I read somewhere that other people have the same issue,if im busy,I can do the mileage and more in a week

That is a fair chunk of oil. The skoda threshold which is too high, is 0.5L / 1000km.  You indicate you may be nearly double that.

The oil is being burned if it is not leaking out.  I would return it if possible, a fix is likely to be substantial and take a long time to resolve properly and could cost a lot of money for the dealer.. They will try a multitiude of cheaper fixes etc first.

Was it on long life servicing? What is the oil change history like?  Long oil change duration can cause problems to arise early on these engines.
