Anyone else struggling to get spare parts after VAG change parts distribution partner?

Had a Superb 4x4 estate fail mot on Sat30june with a broken rear spring

Part ordered on Monday for del Tue

Finally rec'd and fitted on Thurs! 

Apparently VAG had switched parts distribution company which failed meaning Skoda Audi main dealers TPS

and anyone using them struggled for parts. Independent garage I used TQC in Stoke had 5 customers cars laid up waiting on parts

Surprised it didnt make the press a bit more

Could this be a reason of the slow production line problems of karott and other VAG MOTORS shame they can’t use bits off the 350,000 cars parked up in America after the dieselgate affair!

Yep. Ordered some genuine bits from these guys (who I can recommend): https://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk/

Chased them for an ETA today on the phone, to be told "You remember that Kentucky Fried Chicken thing recently? VAG have exactly the same problem".

I guess he meant with respect to parts, rather than chicken, but basically he couldn't give me an ETA because he didn't know when he was going to receive the parts.
