Please help!

Friday night the front passenger window dropped in the door.

I've managed to get the glass out and drill out rivets to remove the old regulator kit etc.

However I cannot get the wiring to disconnect from the door looks

It appears to be solid on. Any tips?

Cut the cables on the outside of the door carrier then use bullet connector's to rejoin them. A few people on here have done it that way

Push the plug upwards to relieve any strain and then pull the locking tab towards the wires. Then pull the plug off whilst keeping pressure on the locking tab.

Aha! I knew this photo of the A post I took last week would come in handy. ........ Pity I forgot to take one of the wires on the door. ......

thats not the end im assuming op meant. The lock itself is a bit awkward but some wd40 and wiggle it in and out until the plastic tab unhooks and it will come off.

Cheers guys for the replies

I've brute forced the retaining clip from the plug pushed up and pulled back but the bugger still won't budge

Got fed up and went for beer instead.

Used a piece a wood to chock the window in place and secure the car as will heading on holiday in week so at least it will be secure

If plug won't come off will chop the cables on my return and fit a new mech.

Or look for a complete new door

Window is done!

Got a part from eBay. Rivets from tps.

And chopped the cables as the plug wouldn't come out.

So far so good!
