Dirt on rear bumper corners? Interferes with radar units underneath. Clean it.

Agree with xman, I had this warning when it was snowing heavily, along with ACC unavailable ... Give the sensors as good clean with a damp Microfiber cloth

the rear traffic alert / blind spot sensors are inside the rear bumpers, directly mounted on the body panels.

there is no way they would "get dirty", unlike the ACC sensor upfront, or the PDC sensors.

me thinks something else fishy fishy happening with ur car.......

i have tried everything possible thanks for the explanation

I had this problem, tried cleaning the bumper but this didn’t solve it. It was a month or so after picking the car up, thought I might have changed something in the settings as I was still playing about with the infotainment.  Booked it into the dealers who had to reinstall the software.

Don’t know what caused it to loose it but it was sorted out under warranty.

I also had this problem on my MY17 took it to the dealer who replaced a faulty part under warranty

I get this when i tow. maybe check the connector?

I think it's supposed to disable when you are towing (says so in the manual). It also says other things like rear bike carriers could interfere with it, so that is one possible cause. Other than that it sounds like a trip to the dealer is in order to get it checked out.
