No aux-in socket

Featured Replies

Hello, I realised that I don't have aux-in socket in the infotainment Columbus. The trim level is highest (style).

I have a USB and 12V sockets. Aux-in is missing.

Any clue why it's not there?

Aux-in is for streaming music, a task now performed via either USB or Bluetooth.

Not sure why the'd need to fit an Aux socket to a car these days. They were kinda cutting edge thirty odd years ago, but as said USB or Bluetooth is much more up to date, and there's a fair chance your mobile might actually have a USB socket or Bluetooth.

Thanks guys for the swift response. Indeed I'm able to connect via bluetooth. (PS. when switching back to radio for example, the system is silent and I discovered that I have to manually turn up the volume that is set to zero after BT streaming, annoying bug). I just wanted to connect a bluetooth amplifier to my phone and use its ac3 output socket to stream in the infotainment. But I guess this won't work in the kodiaq....

PPS. while on connectivity, most of the applications that I try won't work in my location and/or my equipment, starting from android auto, and up to skoda media command, SmartGate apps. Feels a bit trapped... :speechless:
