Weird pipe / sensor?

Featured Replies

Hi there, just for my own curiosity, does anyone know what this pipe and sensor does?

From a 2014 1.4 TSI 140 engine.

Petrol, 1.4 TSI (103 kW, 140 PS, 138 hp ) Code CHPA, Engine Code EA211, 7-speed DSG

Cheers!

And what do all the other items do? I may as well ask.:wondering:

Wonder if it's part of the  Active charcoal filter system with solenoid valve N80.

It's the warp drive actuator, and can be enabled with VCDS version 978345.14 which is due for release in the year 3034

Forgot to say what that part actually is. It's the vacuum feed for the brake servo. Although it looks like the tube goes through the bulkhead, it just gets routed behind the bulkhead heat shield. One end connects to the throttle body, other end brake servo.

Brakes & throttle connection could be something to do with the pre-priming circuit, lift off the throttle quick & the car pre-primes the brakes #becauseracecar

Yes, I've noticed this and it actually works very well! A huge increase in assistance!
