Well,

After 2 weeks of ownership the VRS is currently back at the main dealers.

Front n/s wheel bearing - noticed it whilst travelling on the motorway at approx 80mph awful droning / whaling noise......

You should have told them it was 70mph. Doing over the NSL might not be covered under the warranty, if the can wriggle out on a claim, they will

Hope you get it sorted quickly.

All sorted now, bearing replaced no issues - I did not expect ANY problems considering I notified the dealer within a WEEK of owning it.

All is good now ....... apart from the fact they moved my seat position.......grrrrrrr.

Wheel bearings on the Mk3 are made of chocolate.

Had first one changed at 20k miles.

Cheers for that wonder whether the 4 wheel drive puts more strain on the wheel bearings having only ever owned 2 wheel rear/front drive cars?
