Hi all got this fault code popping up every now and again it literally flashes up with a warning on the dash but dissappears just as quick but doesn't get stored on the infotainment unit any ideas? OBDeleven data log

Does the message say something about workshop and leaving it in P? If so, based on the message and error code I'd say it's probably the common DSG selector issue which requires the selector lever to be replaced.

Ahhh thanks guys I will mention it when the car goes to skoda for its mot on Friday. The message does not stay on the dash long enough to read but from the quick glance I got that looks like it. As it's known fault what other issues can I expect?

 

From the thread theres no functional impact of this, just the warning message.

However, I guess its possible you wouldnt be able to start for the same reason if the error worsened (shifter must be in P to start) so its best to get it sorted while its at the dealers.
