Hi Guys,

 

I've noticed that if I leave my car in Economy mode, the next day it will appear to be still in Economy mode, but won't select the gears accordingly, unless I scroll through the profiles, and put it into economy again.

Is there any way around this?

Mine seems to do this too but not sure what u mean by not select the gears? 

 

Mine shows on corner of columbus screen "eco" but on the MFD shows "D" rather than the "E" and when foot off gas it doesnt coast.  I have to reselect eco mode as you suggested for it to enter eco mode properly.

no way around this.

 

its been discussed a number of times before.

 

u'll have to re-select it each time u start the car.

with MY17 and newer, MY16 remembers E mode

Mine is a 67 plate so assuming its a MY17?  I have the full touch screen columbus.  It does remember the mode.  If i select sport it stays in sport and so does individual, but on eco mode it doesnt. On the columbus screen it shows eco on the top left corner but om the mfd as mentioned it still shows "D" rather than "E"  

 

 

But what if you make your individual driving mode exactly same as Eco. Would it remember then?

I havent tried that as my individual mode is set up differently but can certainly try. But dont feel this is a fix as such lol

No, it won’t. It goes back to normal. Bloody annoying if I’m honest

correct
MY16 behaves normally in this regard.

 

the techos had screwed up the code from MY17 onwards!!!
