Interior lights

Featured Replies

Hi Guys.  Sometimes on unlocking my 2014 1.4 litre TSI estate the interior lights don't come on.Anyone else had this ?

No. The 'sometimes' is concerning.

At the risk of not literally answering the question, check all the witch positions.

'Someone' may have moved them.

No,the "witches" are never changed.

And what about the opposite?

When you lock the car do the interior lights always go out?  If you have a faulty door switch and the light isn't going off when the doors shut, then by default it will auto shut off the lights after about 10-15 mins.  If you then opened the door with a faulty switch, it may no know its been opened and therefore the lights wouldnt come on.

Possibility??

Never noticed the lights staying on after locking.Even if one of the door switches was faulty (I don't think) it shouldn't make a difference as I only lock and unlock by the key fob.
