Installation of a celoxperformance module +25Bhp on my Fabia 1,4 tdi 75cv

Featured Replies

I have Fabia combi 1,4 tdi 75 since November 2005.Since this purchase I noticed that the engine did not give all its power low has mode below the 2000 tours. in this fact I have carry out some tests by installing a larger air duct (Seat Cupra Tdi) and a filter green.I noticed that there were improvements on the level of acceleration but on the level of the petrol consumption I was not convinced by my modifications. This fact I bought module +25BPH sold by celoxperformance on ebya and frankly in spite of some difficulties of connecting it on the probe, this small module changed the driving behavior of the ca: more couple and reduction of the consumption of 15% approximately. One notes a clear improvement with acceleration, the engine answers more quickly.

Yep I ran one of these on my PD100. I'd be surprised if you do get a 25bhp increase - they normally quote 20-25% increase, but was the best bang-for-buck mod I've done on any car

Chris

I've just fitted one on mine, (analogue tuning box I bought from ebay, off a briskoda member) his fitting instructions helped me get it on, took five minutes, even though it was a bit of a stretch for the wires....

went out and had a short go, but will be running it all day tomorow for a proper evaluation, acceleration seems to be improved, no more smoke than normal,no lumpy idle, but I've only had a quick blat so far, not sure of the power increase, but it is an improvement, and like you said chris, for the money, its worth it...

note: I also bought a fault scanner/code clearer from alphabid on ebay, to clear any fault codes that may come up.... tried it and it works, saying "no faults" so far.....

better reveiw tomoz!

I have often thought about getting the 1.4 TDi 75 bhp and getting a PD160 intake and green panel filter and Milltek exhaust & CC2 just to see if it could crack 120 bhp.

With the money i'd save on insurance & running costs I could put this towards refinements in the cabin & mods.

According to the Custom Code website 120bhp is within the realms of possibility :) just think what a hybrid turbo and new injectors could manage

True, but in that case going for the vRS version would be cheaper, even including insurance ;)

Is there an uprated turbo & injectors for the 1.4 TDi   :D

Im know someone with a 1.4TDi A2, remapped with just shy of 110hp, so 120hp shouldn't be too difficult to get!

:)

I'd be great fun sticking to the back of a vRS in a 1.4 TDi :D
