Hi all

Due to get my new company car in the next couple of weeks - Skoda Superb 2.0 SETechnology (2WD) 150PS Estate.

Its my first Skoda always had VW.s and Vauxhalls - so here goes to a new era .

Hopefully all info i  need i should find on here

I'm on my Second Superb and love them - likewise in the past I used to have Vauxhalls (2 x Astra)  and VW's (Polo and Passat).

One question i do have is, my company have got me this car early to try and sidestep the new taxation laws coming in Sept. Will this car require adblue?

 

Sorry I can't answer properly - mine drinks from the other pump so I've been researching petrol versions. 

 

What I do know is the 2.0 150 CR started out without adblue whereas the more powerful model had it. Adblue is being phased in over all the diesel engines so a new one probably has it by now. From September ALL new diesels will have it though.

 

NB All petrol engines on the Superb will have a GPF/OPF(depengin on language & spelling) from September

Can't answer your Adblue question, surely the supplying company can answer that for you?

Hi Richard, From J32 lol

TBH i am very unsure of the spec,  i know its a Superb SE Tech 2.0 6 speed manual in metallic quartz grey with black leather upholstery - basically the request i placed was turned down because Skoda had stopped building due to the new emissions coming out therefore knocking my del date back to next mar , i'm officially due to change first week oct. The MD decided it would be better to send my Insignia back earlier to avoid penalty mileage. This was the only car available to the lease company at the time. I am seriously hoping it is a 2018 build and has not been sat in a field somewhere.

I think either way you will live the car, ive had an isignia briefly and didnt like it much.
