Reviving this topic as I'm looking to go Rieger. Where did you still the holes and are there instructions for it?

Quoting this comment because it didn't work last time and I want ahenners to get the notification :)

You Sure? Same info given to you from ahenners as per fitting of mine ages ago?

So today me & a friend went about fitting the Rieger rear diffuser B) & it was quite a simple job  no jack needed, I did re-watch the Hollowman YouTube video just to refresh my brain "on how to fit/install it" the Rieger diffuser completely changes the look of the vRS & 100% agree with @Jaco2k that you do really need to see it in the flesh B) as pictures can't really show how much better it actually looks.

Note: There are 2 holes that you have to drill either side of the diffuser in-order to keep the diffuser up properly (1 hole either end/side) we used speed fasteners (u clips) to secure above the hole & insert the black round clip(s) you get in the bag & then use the screw.

Here's a few pictures I quickly snapped but will post up a few more tomorrow or Sunday, once I've washed the vehicle but definitely a big thanks to everyone who's shared their experiences with me on this thread :thumbup:very much appreciated.

I will quickly take a few pictures now for you  you will need a couple of this speed fasteners (picture below the gold clip) 1 either side of the end of the bumper (closest to the rear wheel arches)

Edit:

Other than that, it really is simple to fit/job, everything comes in the box, all the screws, black round plugs etc...

The instructions are actually very decent, easy to work out & not like Ikea instructions :D If you get any probs just post in this thread & I will do my best to help you out

The speed fastener clips don't come with the rear diffuser, you will need to buy a few, 1 each side so a total of 2 but the garage mechanics should have these to hand in all honestly.

Here is the pictures & these are the only 2 holes that need drilling as it explains in the manual you get with the diffuser

looks good! i fitted the Rieger side skirts and the body shop were surprised at how well and easy they went on and said they had never seen an after market kit fit so well.

Not fully aware of the rules ATM for this forum as I've just joined however...

I'm interested in getting a diffuser on my 230 BLACK Octy.

Does anyone have one they want to get rid of?

Preferably the Reiger one...

I just installed the rieger rear diffuser.

Is it necessary to install that exhaust extension? I think that it only comes with diesel vrs, but im not so interested on cutting and welding.

I would also like to paint those shiny exhaust ends but how on earth you get those off the rear bumper without removing the bumper?

The exhaust tips if I remember correctly have 4 screws holding them on/up, you can lay on the floor with a long crosshead screwdriver & undo them without having to take off the rear bumper, you might have to wiggle them a little when you have undone the screws etc.

@MO230 The size that fits the screws 🤣 Honestly I can't remember what size, I just went in to a car factors shop & showed them the screws that came with the diffuser & they gave me the fasteners needed.👍

Sorry for the late reply but I don't venture much on here.
