virtual cockpit now showing in the UK configurator, no other models as far as I can see

The important question is - will it be retrofitable?

Yes. It's already been done by @Trust2k

Does anyone know if Columbus will be needed for a retrofit?

yes you need for VC MIB2.5 (9,2") > SW1163 or Amundsen Facelift > SW0468 for retrofitting VC.

Hi, I own a RS245 DSG MY2018 (07/2018) with a gps colombus/Kessy/ACC/DCC,etc, to retrofit the virtual cockpit, do I need special equipment or I can do it myself, is there anything to configure?

Thank you in advance for your answers

I can help, to install the virtual cockpit and make the adaptions via remote. Maybe you can start a trip to Frankfurt am Main =)

hello, thank you for your answer, so if I buy part 5E0920790, I can install it myself, plug a laptop in the socket odbc2 or USB ?

And give you for example a teamviewer access, and you can made adaptations for the virtual cockpit ?

Im interested in working this out too, if it can be bought/installed fro around £1000 I'd be game...

Just concerend about how much coding is required, anyone know the steps yet?

Hi.

I just received my vRS 245. You need either Amundsen or Columbus infotainment system for digital instrument panel at least in Latvia you cannot get it with default Bowlero system. I have Amundsen and you see the panel in full glory. My only gripe with it, I can't find how to set the vRS mode in panel as default view, but you can change what you want to see on the sides of the speedometer. I hope that helps. It cost about ~400 eur with Amundsen.
