Wheels, spacers, lowering . . .

Featured Replies

Hey all, I have asked these question separately before but can’t seem to find the thread. After winter I’m planning on lowering my VRS , going 19’s , H&R springs and spacers also.

People Les who have done this before can I get some advice what’s best, how low and what’s size spacers, I have a family of five, well three kids and me and the wife so car is full all the time. Don’t want any issue with arches and scraping.

attached the wheels, offset etc

any helps or pics please, thankyou

There really are numerous threads on Lowering and Spacers.

Normally 15mm on the front hubs and 20mm on the rear for the spacers. My rims are 8.5J with Michelin PS4 S tyres in 235/35R19 size with ET45 offset. Carrying upto 5 people I wouldn't go lower than 30mm drop to be on the safe side.:)

i have 15/20mm spacers front/back, running 19"s on -40mm H&R springs, I frequently load u the car including the wife and kids and a full boot with no issues

no offence but i wouldn't touch P Zeros, there are far far better options out there.

What would you go for? I used PZero on all my inprezas years ago. I just fitted the Skoda with rainsport 3’s the other week and I like them. Thank for the info to

+1

I had 19" PZeros on a previous car (with AWD) and their wet grip was truly awful and they had a very short life too - I won't touch them ever again.

PZeros, had them and hated them (on 18'). Bad grip, noise and consumption. If you can, avoid them.

Michelins PS3s or goodyear F1 eagle AS3s in that order, goodyear is £30 cheaper per corner but still a very good tyre
