Fuse sizes

Featured Replies

Just had a towbar fitted and on the way home discovered that my electric windows were not functioning. Sadly the office / fitters had closed for the day and the drivers window had been left open! I removed the glovebox and checked the fuses using the manual to give fuse locations. It appears that the fuse for the r/h windows has somehow been dislodged as the position (39) was devoid of a fuse. Unfortunately the manual gives locations but not the size (amperage) of the fuses. Does anyone have a clue as to the appropriate size needed please? I’ve fitted a 10 amp to get the window closed, but don’t want to overload it. Cheers.

Both cigarette front and rear have no power, looked and checked in fuse area by the front door and cannot find the correct fuse to replace, from an internet search it says # 26  in luggage compartment? and its 25 amp ,but which end do you start from as they are not numbered, and is it under the bonnet or the side of the dash board or even in the luggage compartment?

Front socket is #35, I think, next row down, 4th from right.

Both cabin sockets might be on #35.  12V socket in boot would be #26, I think.

Thanks for that 4th row down and 5th from the right wasn't it, however the 5th row down and the 4th from the right sorted the issue, by the way the rear luggage 12v plug worked throughout (weird) that might be on the fuse you suggested .

So leading on from that issue , a have a dashcam which I would like to switch off with the ignition, does anyone have a simple solution?

if you do a search in here for 'dashcam wiring' you'll likely find lots and lots of threads asking about that.

Thank you
