Featured Replies

Hi Guys and Girls:)

Only got back recently so still fresh in mind.

Took car in to dealers to check probs I had see other thread, after explaining all thtas bring going on car vigorously checked over nothing found for jerking motion when acclerating lightly no codes found to indicate problem but mechanic who helped me out said that they have a demo car what did same thing but as mileage has increased problem has dissapeared.

I would also like to say that the customer service given was top notch soon as I walked through door offered coffee and the saleslady who dealt with me from the start kirsty even offered courtesy car without me requesting overall very happy person forgot dealer is hayseldon skoda doncaster and i can`t praise them enough :D:D:D

A HAPPY FURBY ONWER

Skoda delaers are really good. I went for a test drive and they offered both me and my girlfriend a coffee when they sat us down. wouldn't get that anywhere else selling cars.

very pleased to hear it

Ummm - that's a standard sales technique to keep you there!

Derek Slacks Skoda in Middlesbrough are spot on as well but i still would like to get a cure for the problem, i may try disconnecting the EGR system when i find it.

yes but this is not done anywhere else I have been to buy a car. well done to them. i don't care if it's technique as i came away thinking they were pleasant instead of ignorant.

Reg Vardys offered me a nice big steaming mug of Bullsh*t when I had a Renault. I have found Skoda much better.

Sorry this thread has changed into a dealer check list.

hi everbody

small update wife`s been out in the car reported no probs at all, one thing i forgot to mention earlier when the car was on the test drive they asked me to put car in first gear then drive in first so revs went to 4500 then release throttle as car breaks on its own dip clutch, this may have blown something out was a bit worried as still low mileage on car.

bloke who came out with me said that some have had a flywheel problem he said my was ok, a particular noise what he was listening for didn`t happen.

critch.
