Battery Nodes cover under the bonnet.

Featured Replies

Hi,

 I have a 2011 Skoda Superb V6, 3.6, 4x4. I’m facing a couple of  issues -

1. Bluetooth on the stock stereo is disabled (BT Audio). How do you enable that?

2. The battery of the car is in the trunk but Skoda has provided 2 nodes under the bonnet for Jumpstart. There’s a plastic box that covers these nodes. Any link to buy this cover would be helpful.

No idea on the battery cover, though if you can get a part number you'll probably find a dealer selling one on eBay.

On the bluetooth issue, there are 2 things to check: on your phone make sure 'Media Audio' is enabled for the Bluetooth pairing; on the car, make sure you're in Handsfree Mode rather than Premium (uses rSAP and is generally crap unless you live in your car and spend a lot of time in poor coverage areas) then go into the Bluetooth menu on the MFD and go down through the settings until you find one for Media Pairing and make sure that's set up - it seems that you have to separately pair for call handling and media playback.

Do you have the Bluetooth module under the passenger seat?

Nope

That's why you don't have bluetooth on the Columbus, the BT module is an exterior unit on our generation cars (not integrated in the nav or radio)

To someone who doesn't know that there's a difference it's something that would steer them in the wrong direction, which isn't fair if they're coming here for help.
