Does anyone know if there is a difference in suspension (spring size) from a mk 3 vrs estate fitted with 18 inch and 19 inch wheels, Thinking of buying a one but prefer the 19's. The 19's seem to fill the arches better that's all, was wondering if there is a difference in suspension between the Two? Was going to buy a estate with the 18s and fit aftermarket 19 inch wheels and didn't want it to ride too high...

nope no difference, 15mm drop over standard

Cheers

I have the estate and fitted with 18 geminis and then Xtremes, i replaced the springs with H&R 40mm drop over stock. its more about the arch gap than the height. 19s look much better imho, heres mine with lowered springs and 19s

That's the look I'll be after, with the xtremes or an aftermarket wheel, what is the clearance like underneath? Can you negotiate speed bumps OK?

I have mk1 Fabia vrs at the minute, lowered on coilovers, the ground clearance is rubbish, I keep thinking I'm going to rip my sump off...

haven't hit a bump yet, no issues with pot holes either. It actually drives better with the H&R springs.
