Skoda One app doesn't work

Featured Replies

Hi all

Decided to try out the Skoda One app on my 2017 Octavia RS 230.

However while it says connect via WiFi or USB, using USB doesn't work. It just says disconnected.

My phone doesn't have MirrorLink link, but USB should still work.

Any thoughts?

If it's anything like my experience, try again in a few days and it'll work. Then it'll stop again. Then it'll work, then it'll stop... IME it's just a crap application with zero consistency or reliability.

Still nothing working on this, having looked around the web and this forum it seems the SkodaOne app is broken for sometime now, unless you are using a Samsung device, most of which have MirrorLink.

Now you should not need MirrorLink to use the app but the only people who have it working seem to be Samsung users.

Yeah it’s not the most reliable app in the world. *When* it works it’s really useful. I’ve had loads of bother with this app, which I think is due to apple car play (I see your using android though), was told by my Skoda dealer there are known issues with car play being unreliable and dropping the connection for no reason, but sounds like it’s not just apple who is at fault!
