Vrs alloy lacquer 19inchers.

Featured Replies

Hi guys bought a 15plate vrs few months ago. I have had diamond cut on a previous car absolutely terrible!!!

Anyways I got the car and 'a' alloy was refurbished on my purchase  as the rest were all spotless.  I didn't even see the damage to the one they were fixing. Anyways wheels all looked great until after a few washes noticed slight lauqer peel only on one alloy and it isn't from damage. Took a few photos now as it's drastically deteriorated has anyone had this problem it looks 100% to me as it was the refurbished allow clearly not being done good enough.

First port of call, contact the place you had them refurbished at. Do they provide a warranty/guarantee on their work?

Lucky you - when I bought my Octavia from a Skoda dealer it became obvious that they had simply resprayed a damaged alloy instead of powder coating it as the paint pealed off the first time I used a pressure washer. The dealer denied all responsibility so I had to pay for a proper powder coating repair, fortunately I found a local company in Woolston who did it at a great price.

Oh god well hopefully as it's not even 3 months old clearly faulty they sort it got a year's vehicle warranty with it aswell

Just wanting to know how bad/good these alloys are as a diamond cut. I used to have a mondeo mk3 St with diamond cut alloys and they were Awfull got ingress under the lacquer and it basically all flaked away. Hoping these are not as bad?
