Hey guys, just thought i would pop in and shout up, I run the Volvo performance club for the UK so am quite familiar with forums and boards.

Reason for joining is due to last Sunday, making my merry way back from Anglsey along the M56 towards the M6 and saw a superb looking white Octavia VRS (i think) i was driving a Silver Volvo 850 T5 estate and tryed to coax the driver into playing, however he kept his cool :)

Anyway, i knew of the forums from one of my members that has a Fabia VRS, so thought i would pop in.

Who ever the Octavia belongs to needs a pat on the back, awesome looking car and despite the snow had managed to keep it spotless.

Cheers ;)

Welcome to Briskoda. :D

Arh ha, the T5 Volvo driver and not the lumbering xc90 one up my exhaust who I was playing with ;)

Was my car...and lets face it, at night a T5, 2 up and some gentle coaxing, I was not quite ready for Cheshire Police to make £60 out of me, then the xc90 got my full attention for a few minutes anyway. Also I'm supposed to bedding in a new clutch, so I'm supposed to be a good driver for another 100 or 200 miles :) I did wonder if you knew, perhaps wife had a fabia vrs or somthing similar, so i was wondering for a while. Always nice to have a wink and a positive follow up, perhaps we should have a national was it you board.

Always had a soft spot for the T5's, perhaps somthing to do with there performance or load functionailty or a sweet combination of both.

Was on my way back from Llanberis, had been snow covered overnight and melted, hence an almost free car wash, but far from spotless I'll assure you of that. It's more a grey than white due to dirt, but seems to go white under orange street lighting :)

So what were you up to on the Isle of Anglesey?

One has to assume given your opening line that your T5 is fettled with, in which case any toying with would of been; umm fun for one of us, mines only a 1.4 ;)

/me goes of to garett website again...

I think I saw a collie or similar dog in the back, or was I a little too tired to be driving?

Always nice to have a wink and a positive follow up' date=' perhaps we should have a national was it you board.

I thought It was already an international one...
