Hi guys,

 

Bought a replacement air filter for my 1.6tdi Monte Carlo but it's cylindrical? 

 

My 1.4tdi was like a weird triangle shape....plus the case is quite rectangular/weird triangle shaped aswell?

 

Also, the top cover is a bitch to take off!! I couldn't reach all the star bolts with my allan key :-( got to buy another tool.

 

Anyone got any idea what the correct filter is and any suggestions for the correct tools to do the job?

Thats the right filter i thought the same when i bought and changed mine you will see when you get the cover off.

 

I used a long  torx screwdriver and a qtr drive rachet with a torx bit to get the screws out
