Maxidot selection issue

Featured Replies

Evening all,

My superb is having issues with maxidot.

i can scroll up and down through the menus on the steering wheel but when I press it to select it does nothing.

skoda wants £60 per hour for diagnosing the fault, anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Jon

Most obvious would be a faulty button...

The new switch is now on its way! To fit does anyone know if it just pops out and plug in or will the whole steering wheel need to be dismantled?

Thanks

The length of the cable might suggest its a 'wheel off' job...

Unless you can disconnect the cable from off the back of the switch and therefore utilise the existing cable?

Should be possible if these images are accurate...

I think it's just an airbag off job.

That wire is just between the two sets of switches if I recall...

Thanks, I know the battery needs to be disconnected before attempting this, but how long would you leave it before taking it off?
