*Solved* Memory seat issue after service

Featured Replies

Search function didn't show any recent threads about this issue.

Had my car in for service yesterday. Got it back and discovered that the memory for driver's seat and also easy entry didn't work.

OBD11 diagnostic showed that there was no "start position" stored for the seat hence it wouldn't work. A quick Google lead me to an old thread in Superb 1 forum and I found the solution.

This is copied from VW forum originally.

Here's how to turn the memory seat on:

1) Pull the seat all the way forward

2) Tilt the seat all the way forward

3) Tilt the seatback all the way forward

It still amazes me that VW dealers don't know how to do this.
