Currently waiting for my vRS to be built/delivered...... I was thinking of getting the headlight protectors for the car....... But...... I've just looked at the extras brochure from Skoda and it says the headlight protectors are only for fitting to cars that don't have xenons...... Is there anybody who has them fitted to a Fabia with xenons or is it a definate no-no???

It's utter tripe mate, me and my Mum have both had the protectors fitted on our Xenon equipped Fabias pretty much since we bought the cars and we've had no issues what-so-ever.

You need to clean down the back of them fairly regularly, but it's definately worth the effort when they're protecting 4 and a half hundred quid's worth of Xenons!

Cheers for the info matey........... Are yours the Skoda one's and are they easy to take off / put on when cleaning????? The dealer didn't seem to know of any probs fitting them to my car but just wanted to double check.

Now i've just got to decide whether to pay £130 to have the Silver Seal treatment done before collection.
