Rear wiper stoped working

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've got Skoda Roomster 2010.

Recently my rear wiper stoped working.

I opened the wiper motor and cleaned & lubed all the mechanics there again and wiper still not working.

When i'm connecting the motor directly to the battery - it runs well and strong. What leads me that the problem is in the relay/ motor power connector.

Can someone please explain where is the rear wiper relay and how to check if it works properly?

Thanks in advance!

There is a fuse for the rear wiper, but personally I would check the wiring in the rear tailgate gaitor, top left when you open the tailgate. The cores often wear and break.

Hi, thanks for the replay!

The fuse checked by me and of course it is ok.

About the tailgate connection, how should I check if the wire is ok? Stripe it out and check Voltage?

@Pini - As @aubrey says above, you need to continuity check the wiring. To do this you need to know how to use a multimeter.
