How to easily use trip computer

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Wondering if anyone can please tell me what the easiest way is to use the trip computer?

I would like to get simple info for a journey saying how far I have travelled and how long it has taken me.

Thanks

Silly question, but have you got “Driving data” selected as the menu choice on the maxi dot display? You can use the scroll wheel on the right hand side of the steering wheel to switch between distance covered/time etc.

You can also use the Car option on the infotainment unit.

I have the ‘Driving data’ in the maxi dot display but am unsure how I reset it for a specific drive I want to calculate.

Would be great to do this on the infotainment unit also.

If you scroll to mpg for example on the Maxidot and press the scroll wheel button in, it should toggle between short term, long term and since refuel. Try doing this for some other settings, it may do the same. To reset the ‘since start’ data, go to CAR on the radio, Setup, Instruments and in there are the rest buttons for short and long term data. To get all of that data on one screen, use the CAR tab to display it.
