How to tell if 95 or 110?

Featured Replies

Good evening,

Recently taken delivery of our rapid see sport. On all the paperwork from the dealer it states it's a 110 ps.

Insurance is due next week and started to look at quotes, upon putting the reg into the comparison site it comes up as the 95 ps.

How do I find out what it actually is?

The older 84/105 split had 5 or 6 gears depending on the engine.

Similarly the 95 has 5 gears and the 110 has 6 (or 7 if DSG).

Did your comparison site think it was a SE TECH, not SE SPORT?

No it said se sport, it's manual and it has 6 gears though.

Wonder why it's down as a 95 though

Put your foot down and the 110ps version will go faster than the 95ps version.:inlove:

Might do, could do, should do, but maybe will not as maybe the 110ps will have crap tyres, wheel spin and TC / ASR on and power cut.

Higher numbers do not always mean better, and anyway 70 mph is 70 mph in what ever you are driving, maybe need 74 on the speedo to be doing 70 though.
