I agree do not drive these cars unless youre broke and cannot afford one

visit to dealer to get lamp holder for the boot from them

dealer- RS looks in good nick still

me - yes it is isn't it pity it doesn't have xenons and heated seats

dealer- you should look at a superb

me - no way laughing outloud

dealer- let me take you out in this one I've got the keys

me - I suppose it can't hurt can it

dealer- look its doing 50mpg and wouldn't you like a drive?

me - OK yes I suppose it's not bad - but not in my price range

Dealer - Gotcha!

YOu can imagine the conversation that nigh darling I think I should get a more sensible car - wife falls off chair and pops handstand ( does not like being a passenger in the RS) . Yes I think I'll get an new skoda- at this point she leaves the room for the evening, anyway arranged to borrow a superb for the day - but they only have one available with sat nav and full leather - you can imagine my dissapointment. Without going on 250 miles later she was a convert to skoda! Something the Octavia was never going to achieve.

SO be very careful when wandering about in dealerships !
