Fabia 1, 2006 1.4 petrol OBD plug location

Featured Replies

Hi All,

As per title, have just picked up a Fabia for the other half.

I was wanting to scan to see if any faults exist using my Carista code reader.

only snag being I can’t find a OBD plug and have looked in the same location as it has been on my Ocatavia and current Superb.

Anyone point me to the correct location please?

thanks

Open the little storage compartment on driver's side, then when fully open, pull it harder.

Oh so it is up being that cubby hole.

As it’s not my car I didn’t really want to bust anything

Yeah it feels a bit like something might break, but it doesn't.

I'll be interested to hear how you get on with Carista, I bought one without checking first, and it said it didn't support cars as old as the Mk1 Fabia. Sold it on without trying it even.

Thanks Gents, plug found via rather fragile feeling cubby hole.

carista was happy with a fault code scan suggesting no codes.

but as you say, when I went to look for any amendments that could be made, not supported.

Its a really useful bit of kit, that I have had for a few years and has come in use on my old Octavia and my current Superb.

Which modules does it scan (on the Fabia), just engine, or more?
