Morning, I have a 2005 Fabia petrol with 52000 miles on the clock.

When starting from cold it fires up and runs fine but if it is idling (stuck in traffic) when the temp gauge reaches mormal it starts to misfire and the engine light comes on,  if I switch off and restart it then runs fine but light stays on. If I drive it without it idling until it reaches normal temperature it's fine. any ideas what may cause this?

Sounds like a failing coil pack to me.
